Furniture showrooms and quotations Design concept

Bait W Thoq

An Arabic showroom experience linking a room photograph to finishes, dimensions and a reviewable itemized quotation.

We designed Bait W Thoq for a fictional furniture showroom in Al Rai serving Kuwaiti home projects. The scenario needed a coherent room collection without substituting a photograph for product information. Specific pieces, finishes and prices lead into a quote draft containing the information both customer and showroom need before confirming supply and delivery.

Project brief

A fictional furniture showroom connecting photographed collections to explicit finishes and a reviewable quote draft.

Design scope

  • Arabic identity and collection photographic direction
  • Room interface with accurate product markers
  • Quotation draft and customer enquiry

The project challenge

A complete room photograph does not explain which pieces are included or which fabric was selected. Lighting may have different availability from the sofa, and transport depends on the area and access. We addressed misplaced image hotspots, vague prices inconsistent with the objects, and quote drafts missing product references, dimensions, finish selections and lead times.

The solution we designed

The collection view places selectable markers directly on the sofa, table and lamp. Each selects a sidebar product with photograph, reference, finish and amount. Color samples have written names. The quotation presents three pieces with quantities, references and line amounts, plus a separate stock-check note and contact/area fields. Product details survive the transition from room browsing to enquiry.

The experience

Maryam Al Sabah selects a Bayan living-room collection: a sand-linen sofa at 680 KD, a walnut low table at 240 and a brass floor lamp at 95. The furniture total is 1,015 KD, with transport left separate until its scope is known. In draft 32, Maryam reviews dimensions and finishes before asking the showroom to confirm lamp stock and supply time. An enquiry remains distinct from a final reservation.

What it could do

01

Photo-led selection

Hotspots point to the correct objects and reveal useful product references and finishes.

02

Named materials

Fabric, wood, color and size names accompany samples and remain in the quotation.

03

Itemized quotations

Quantities, unit prices, line totals and furniture value remain separate from later service estimates.

04

Confirmable availability

Stock checks and lead times belong to the relevant product, distinct from a final booking.

A typical journey

  1. Open the collection

Select particular pieces from accurate markers in a photographed room.

  2. Choose a finish

Read reference and size, select a named color, then save the piece.

  3. Review the draft

Check quantities, amounts, stock notes and lead times before contacting the showroom.

  4. Request confirmation

Send the area and requirements, keeping the draft as the reference for stock, transport and timing.

Inside the interface

Arabic interfaces with right-to-left reading and sample workflows set in Kuwait. Open the images to explore the details.

Design direction

Charcoal and copper support editorial Arabic typography and quiet, generous spacing. Bait W Thoq uses a simple Arabic wordmark and a small home symbol. Realistic room photography appears without decorative device frames or 3D gloss. Fine data has strong contrast, photographed materials match their descriptions, and references/colors remain identical in the collection and quote.
