Pharmacies and home care Design concept

Al Nada Pharmacy

An Arabic experience separating everyday home-care shopping from requests requiring pharmacist review.

We designed the digital experience for Al Nada Pharmacy, a fictional Hawally pharmacy offering home-care supplies and professionally reviewed requests. Two paths remain explicit: comparing product specifications and submitting a request that does not become an approved order simply because a file is uploaded. A calm Arabic identity links the customer to the chosen branch and explains each state without promising automatic approval or immediate delivery.

Project brief

A fictional client separating home-care shopping and pharmacist review without real patient data.

Design scope

  • Arabic identity and home-care catalogue
  • Pharmacy selection and supply basket
  • Document submission and pharmacist-review tracking

The project challenge

The scenario mixed home devices and review documents in one ordinary basket, confusing shopping with approval. Customers needed pack contents, device details and collection information; reviewers needed a readable note and a document that could be opened or queried. We resolved this without patient identities, treatment recommendations or simulated medical approval.

The solution we designed

Products use clear device/pack photography, concise specifications and dinar prices. Each action matches its workflow, with an explicit review notice where needed. In the request screen, a customer chooses a pharmacy branch, uploads a file, adds a note and reviews the summary. The status explains upload completeness and the next requested action, while the final decision remains with the pharmacist.

The experience

Dana Al Azmi in Mishref compares a home thermometer and a dressing pack, then chooses Hawally collection. The thermometer is 6.500 KD and dressings 1.250, totaling 7.750. A separate request uses a sample document without personal details and a note for the pharmacist. It stays waiting for review; the product basket and document path remain distinct rather than being treated as one approved payment.

What it could do

01

Home-care specifications

Photograph, pack unit, contents and device specifications support meaningful product comparisons.

02

Separate review

Document submission has an explicit state and next step, without granting automatic approval.

03

Branch and collection

The customer selects the location and collection method for the actual items.

04

Follow-up clarification

Questions and replies remain attached to the correct document and request.

A typical journey

  1. Compare supplies

Review photographs, specifications and pack sizes of the available supplies.

  2. Choose the pharmacy

Select a branch and distinguish direct-shopping from review requests.

  3. Submit the document

Upload a file, add a note and review the independent request summary.

  4. Follow the response

Read the review state and requested clarification without equating upload to approval.

Design direction

Teal, white and a restrained coral alert support Al Nada Pharmacy’s Arabic wordmark and small leaf-in-circle symbol. The identity is professional and welcoming without cartoon characters or exaggerated treatment imagery. Readable labels and thin boundaries separate products from request information. Written states and simple icons keep the document, note and next action central.
